Wells and Hooker - mid 1940's
Picture and information forwarded to me by Duane Hooker's daughter Denise ...Duane's comments: George Wells and Eli T. Hooker in mid 40's in front of Standard Oil Station.
Jones and Hooker - mid 1940's
Picture and information forwarded to me by Duane Hooker's daughter Denise ...Duane notes the picture is of him and Don Jones before they enlisted together in the Army in the mid 1940's. He noted they are standing by Jonesy's 1933(?) Dodge Coupe.
Eli Hooker's Standard Oil Station on Broadway
Copies of the three photo's below are of the Hooker Standard Station that was located just south of the Congregational Church on Broadway. The photo's were sent to me by Denise on behalf of her father Duane, a son of Nora & Eli Hooker. Want to thank Duane for sharing these great old photo's of his father's gas station.

Duane believes this picture was taken sometime between 1915-1920, and he believes the lady to be Mrs. John Enner. Update to the orginal posting ...Duane Hooker noted that the picture would have been taken before his father Eli owned the Standard Oil Station.
Daune's caption for this photo ...Eli Hooker and Bob Baker mounting tires on Bob's car. Update ...Daune Hooker sent an email and thinks the year printed on the picture is not correct. He thinks it was taken shortly after Bob Baker returned from WWII in 1945.
The last photo and the most recent, Daune notes the picture is from around 1940 and the person in the picture is not known.
