Eastside of Broadway, c 1950 - #1

The postcard is looking south at the eastside of Broadway, about 1950. Stores fronts identified and from my memory in the picture are: Atlantic & Pacific, Dancer's Department Store, Swan's Market, Fabiano's Home Made Ice Cream, Leonards, Whiting's Drug Store, and the Strand Theater.

Fabiano's Ice Cream Parlor - 1930's

The picture of Fabiano's Ice Cream Parlor is from the 1930's.  Tony Fabiano and his son Orlando in the picture that Tony's son George sent me a few years back.  I still remember those great hamburgers and buffalo sundaes.

Downtown in the late 1950's

More recent picture of downtown (compared to other postcards, this one is rather new). Probably the only store front that's the same in the whole picture is the bank, and I am sure it's name has changed a few times since this picture was taken. Would guess the picture to be from the mid 1950's.
