Interior of Trudgeon's Drug Store, the picture was taken in June 1954. Elma (Wisnieski) Carpenter who sent me the picture. She worked at Trudgeon's before working as a teller at the bank. Along with Elma behind the counter is Frank Trudgeon who opened the drug store in 1945. I remember as a little boy going into the store and buying penny candy from the cabinet on the left side of the picture ...how patient he must have been, waiting for us little soles to decide what to spend our pennies on. You can see the big safe in the background, from when the store had once been the Farmers Bank.
